t his Excellency Jejomar C. Binay visited Cebu to induct into office the new officers and members of CCCI.
During the meeting CCCI signed an agreement with both local government units Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama and Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia who also attended the event.
Garcia and Rama gave their “full cooperation and commitment” to support the chamber’s programs and projects.
Consul Samuel Chioson, newly elected CCCI president, said this in his inaugural speech on Friday’s General Membership Meeting and Induction of Officers, Board of Trustees and New Members.
“A way to achieve this goal is to partner with the Cebu City and Cebu Provincial governments”.
In line with the GMM, this event is also being a jumpstart for the chamber in providing more relevant services to its increasing members. The quarterly-held GMM provides the members’ opportunity to ventilate business issues and concerns and to identify mitigating measures; to access investment linkages; and to strengthen tie with local, national and international relations.
This quarterly members meeting was again a new opportunity for CISIUM to tighten relationship with the local industry and also welcome to new members. It was an excellent chance to spread our excellence in engineering services, from electrical, electronic and software services.
Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry has a long history and was born 1913. The mission is to strengthen the capabilities of the members through advocacy, linkages and synergy for the global competitiveness of Cebu and its people. Recent achievements are:
